Head On Collision Lyrics
I've been holding back long enough
I've been hurting to tell you some things
That's making all our bones run cool
It's the breeze you make
The presence felt when you're around me
Slightly bruised and broken
From our head on collision
I've never seen this side of you
Another tragic case of feeling
bruised and broken
From our head on collision
I've never seen this side of you
Another tragic case
And I'm still
I think I've held this long enough
I think it's safe to tell you some things
And it's not the way you look at me
It's the way you present yourself
For all your worst critics to see
Slightly bruised and broken
From our head on collision
I've never seen this side of you
Another tragic case of feeling
bruised and broken
From our head on collision
I've never seen this side of you
Another tragic case
Then you were gone
All this time - you just didn't know it yet
You were gone
All this time - you just didn't know it yet
You were gone
(feels like)
I'm at an all-time low
Slightly bruised and broken
From our head on collision
I've never seen this side of you
Another tragic case of feeling
bruised and broken
From our head on collision
I've never seen this side of you
Another tragic case!
(bruised and broken)
another tragic case and I've been
(still waiting for a good day)
Still waiting for a good day...

i havent really thought much about this song, but i love this song and it has an absolutely great feel and vibe and energy for it that i love. its a very passionate song to listen to.
the verses are clearly about wanting to talk to someone and tell them things. in the first and second verse, its about waiting and building up the nerve to tell something important.
from here, i have a little bit of trouble figuring out what they're talking about - if its good news or bad news. but from the feel of the song and the refrain, i think its more negative news. i think its about trying to break up. the refrain is filled with "tragic case, head on collision, bruised and broken, ive never seen this side of you." and later they sing, "you were gone."
i think this song is about feeling that a relationship just isnt working anymore. its hurting them to be in it and they're not feeling like its the best thing anymore. they feel like the changing views of the girl, im assuming, that affects how he feels. in the first verse, it seems like hes talking about how he feels uncomfortable and cold around her. in the second verse, it seems like she's presenting herself in a way that he doesn't care for.
and i think this all builds up. this view, waiting for the right moment to tell her as they do in the refrain about a head on collision and that this just isn't working. later, he says, "you were gone, all this time you just didn't know it yet" and i think he realizes that its over. and he says says tragic case or feeling kinda like how sad it is when relationships work out.
but it ends that he's "still waiting for a good day" to tell her how he feels.

Track 4 on the cd is Something I call personallity! This is right track 5

If you have an ADVANCE copy (you know what i'm talking about) then this is track 5, the Retail version has the tracks listed slightly different with Head on Collision in the 4th spot.

no, it is track five on every cd

No, your wrong...if you have a ripped ADVANCE "Head on Collision" is track 4...the RETAIL has it as track 5.
