I read something about the song's title before, but I don't remember where. As with a bunch of their songs, this song has to do with summertime, and in this case, love during the summer. And basically, during summers off from school/work, including when lyrics were written, the members of the band used to hang out in an arcade and they always used to argue about which video game was the best one there, Shinobi or Dragon Ninja. Put two and two together, and yet get the title. I might have messed something up there, but I think that's the basic idea.
The song title is about an arcade game the Prophets used to play on in a cafe in Pontypridd. They were gutted when Dragon Ninja was replaced by Shinobi. All the kids used to go in and play against each other/

This song is awesome and that's really interesting about their title...lost prophets is the best new band out there and i love them so much! all of their songs kick ass and i wish that our fuckin radio station would play them! they rock
the lostprophets just needed a cool song to open the album with so they wrote this, cause their guitarist had a cool riff already done. the band says it doesnt really mean anything.
first off, lost prophets are awesome and this song is one of the best, and genecide you actually werent the first to comment. The site went down a while ago i guess and lots of lyrics were lost. In fact all of the Lost Prophets' lyrics were lost. But i guess that doesnt matter now cause everythings back, cept for The Handsome Life Of Swing. I cant find the lyrics to that ANYWHERE. I don't know but it's the best song..i love lost prophets. There like my favorite group and i love all the guitar riffs and everything i just learned how to play kobrakai it's so freaking cool i think everybody who know how to play the guitar needs to learn all there songs. well LOST PROPHETS ARE THE BEST!!! go see them at ozzfest. bye
