You Were The Fool Lyrics
Bless The Father, Bless The Son,
Cross Your Heart, Cause You're The One,
Collecting Moonbeams In The Morning
Curvy sticks and wooden poles,
Assissting you in pluggin' holes,
Plug them holes, Til you see straight through to the mind's eye
CHORUS
Think about it, turn around,
And go back to the quiet sound,
Of Jim and Dan prancin' round the pool,
You Were The Fool,
And I Feel Sorry For You,
You Were The Fool,
But There's Something You Can Do...
CHORUS
You can wash your arm in a pool of mud,
You can chop a tree, and prevent a flood,
You can speak with a turtle just by flipping him around,
You can build a boat and sail the seas,
You can buy a mold and forge a key,
Initiate the sequence,
Create catastrophe.
CHORUS
Think about it, turn around,
And go back to the quiet sound,
Of Jim and Dan prancin' round the pool,
You Were The Fool,
And I Feel Sorry For You,
You Were The Fool,
But There's Something You Can Do...
CHORUS
Cross Your Heart, Cause You're The One,
Collecting Moonbeams In The Morning
Assissting you in pluggin' holes,
Plug them holes, Til you see straight through to the mind's eye
Think about it, turn around,
And go back to the quiet sound,
Of Jim and Dan prancin' round the pool,
You Were The Fool,
And I Feel Sorry For You,
You Were The Fool,
But There's Something You Can Do...
CHORUS
You can chop a tree, and prevent a flood,
You can speak with a turtle just by flipping him around,
You can build a boat and sail the seas,
You can buy a mold and forge a key,
Initiate the sequence,
Create catastrophe.
Think about it, turn around,
And go back to the quiet sound,
Of Jim and Dan prancin' round the pool,
You Were The Fool,
And I Feel Sorry For You,
You Were The Fool,
But There's Something You Can Do...
CHORUS

The turtle line is quite possibly the best song lyric ever conceived. Love this song.

I kick ass for submitting these. But seriously, I think it's got something to do with religion. Or something....

Its all about a guy that gets tricked into a gay sex orgy.

He's actually talking about a person who tried to destroy the world with the key to the universe that the person had created. In the end, he went back to his normal life and later on he figured out it was a foolish thing that he tried to do, ergo he was the fool.
