I heard this on MTV2 and it blew me away. The lyrics are abstruse but I take them to respresent the times when you feel you've given everything, maybe to a relationship, and it's not enough to provide happiness. Definetly an underrated song and group.
I kind of agree with that interpretation mainstreet but I'm also thinking the girl is not satisfied no matter what the boy does and he's just kind of given up of the whole kaboodle...and he's just wanting to stay in his room/house and not see her because he can't be bothered with her any more.

I think this song is more about the other half of the relationship always wanting something that can't be offered, and s/he is over exagerating circumstances and faking feelings so the other half of the relationship puts out more than s/he can offer.
