First of all - hi to you guys. Isn't it unbelieveable that even Danes like me listen to Gin Blossoms? Personally I'm a huge fan and have managed to buy Dusted, New Miserable Experience Deluxe and Congratulations I'm Sorry - now I'm just missing the Just South of Nowhere-DVD.
Anyway, this is a song that's quite special to me. Not that any of my (ex)girlfriends have cheated on me, but with one of them I could feel like she really wanted it to be over - and I heard from others that she had said it would soon be over

Fits perfectly. I didn't want to listen to anyone but her - and so she did a few days later ;) I'm more than over it now, but unfortunately for her she regretted it all later on. At that time I had found myself a new girlfriend whom I'm still together with, Has lasted for over a year now.
Enough life stories, but I've just spent all my time reading through the commentaries on the songs, and most of the life stories are way too sad ;)

I first heard this song in the movie, "Empire Records." This is a great song, it could also show a meaning towards relationships.

everyone who has ever been worried about a relationship understands this song. its about someone whose friends keep telling them that their boyfriend/girlfriend is cheating on them. this song is largely about denial, and the person refuses to "take advice from fools" and decides to believe that "everything is cool" until their loved one tells them otherwise. an awesome, classic song.

I dont know where i first heard this song but it has been with me for a very long time and has a huge meaning too me , god i love this song .
It confuses me that the Gin Blossoms have this song and then they also have Found Out About You. Am I alone on this?

Of course it's possible that the same writer could be eclectic enough to write both..but doug Hopkins had many emotional battles which may explain the dark nature of found out about you

Gobsow is right....this and Found Out About You are complete contradictions in meaning and ironically like their 2nd and 3rd biggest song but the songs dont hav 2 agree with each other to b great in their own right i dont think the Gin Blossoms get enought credit for changing music and i dont believe we wud have emo as we know it w/o them
