She Bop Lyrics

Well I see them every night in tight blue jeans
In the pages of a blue boy magazine
Hey, I've been thinking of a new sensation
I'm picking up good vibrations
Oop she bop, she bop

Do I wanna go out with a lion's roar
Huh, yea, I wanna go south and get me some more
Hey, they say that a stitch in time saves nine
They say I better stop, or I'll go blind
Oop she bop, she bop

She bop, he bop, a we bop
I bop, you bop, a they bop
Be bop, be bop, a lu bop
I hope He will understand
She bop, he bop, a we bop
I bop, you bop, a they bop
Be bop, be bop, a lu she bop
Oo oo she do, she bop

Hey, hey they say I better get a chaperone
Because I can't stop messin' with the danger zone
Hey, I won't worry, and I won't fret
Ain't no law against it yet
Oop she bop she bop
She bop, he bop, we bop...

I'm not sure what happened to this thread, but I wish there was a mod on this site to get rid of both of you, and delete your comments.

This is a great song. I recently heard my very conservative and religious sister-in-law singing this to her 18 month old daughter. The daughter was smiling and giggling and enjoying every minute of it.

The best part was explaining to my sis-in-law and my mother-in-law what this song was about.

masturbation, jerking off, wanking off, taking matters into your own hands.

every verse illustrates it more or less ...

I was in a store once and heard this song being played as Muzak. Thought it was funny considering what it's about.

zaqwert777, I also heard this played as Muzak in a K-mart store. Funny, a family store is playing a song about masturbation; well I guess circle-jerking is something the whole family can do. :)

Not Valid

it's about masturbation! hah! "Do I wanna go out with a lion's roar Huh, yea, I wanna go south and get me some more " that line means that she wants to go all out and please herself by "going south"....haha...great song...grrreat. ok not really, i haven't heard it. but yeah, i heard that that's what this song is about. hah

I think the politically correct term is 'self-gratification'. LOL :)

@Krystle Who Cares About Politically Correct Terms… The Song Is About Masturbation

More specifically - it's about female masterbation - beacuse it's what's so taboo. The lyric 'They say I'd better stop, or I go blind' refers to a common phrase in which attempted to stop girls from, well, touching themselves! In the lyrics from '12 Deadly Cyns...And Then Some' there is an arrow (^) after the word 'he' in the chrous - this is a refernce to God. She hopes that God wil understand about, err 'pleasuring herself' :) --> This song is great though - In a way, I can't beleive she got away with releasing this. But beacuse of this song and 14 others (filthy 15 of 1985) the 'Parental advisory' sticker had to come out, warning parents et al about explicit lyrics. You have your right to say what you like - it's not like kids would know what those lyrics meant!!

I remember hearing this song, when I was really young and then learning, what it was about, I was like "No way, girls can do that?"

And yet another reason why the 80's provided us with the best music.

Masturbation

"They say I better stop or I'll go blind" refers to those urban myths that masturbation makes you go blind, haha.

And "I hope He will understand" refers to God.
