I don't think this song has to be limited specifically to a woman in love; it sounds like it fits just as well to the close relationship of two friends or siblings. It sounds like one of them cares so much about the other that they don't want to realize the darkness inside them, but they are aware of it deep down and are afraid that they're right.
In any case, it's a great song. I love the despairing aspect of it. ;3

i think this song is about someone who seems ok, but has this dark side that sometimes shows through.
I think it could be about a woman who begins to fear her boyfriend (or something similar). That this boyfriend would reveal his dangerous mind if she would try to leave him or something like that.

I'm sorry, but why does every first comment have to be "why has no one else commented?" Someone has to be the first... Anyway, soulslayer is on the right track, its about someone you thought you knew but are becoming afraid of, seeing the little signs that they could be violent, vindictive, or the like if pushed.

this song always makes me think of my ex-boyfriend Alexei. I think it means that the singer is saying that although she loves the guy, she knows that he has a dark, dangerous side to him that scares her because she never knows if he will hurt her. "I’m searching for answers Not questioned before" suggests that maybe she wants to find out what is going on inside his head and wants to understand him better...
For me, this song tells a story of a woman whose fallen in love all too soon. A person who was so caught up in the romance and swept away by someone, that now they're discovering the true, darker side of that person.
