Blood in My Eyes Lyrics
Seen a good-lookin' girl, can I make love with you?
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you,
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you.
I got blood in my eyes for you, babe,
I don't care what in the world you do.
Gonna get that girl that money that money will buy.
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you,
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you.
I got blood in my eyes for you, babe,
I don't care what in the world you do.
Said, "Hey, hey, man, can't you wait a little while?"
No, no, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you,
No, no, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you.
Got blood in my eyes for you, babe,
I don't care what in the world you do.
You got my money, now you're trying to break this date.
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you,
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you.
I got blood in my eyes for you, babe,
I don't care what in the world you do.
You don't want me, give my money back.
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you,
Hey, hey, babe, I got blood in my eyes for you.
I got blood in my eyes for you, babe,
I don't care what in the world you do

great song and no comments???? wtf? I think this song id like every man has felt... Its like a guy is trying to get this girl.. takes her out, movies, dinners, clubs etc., and after a while he realizes that is not going to work out... so give my money and time back.....!
I guess I feel that this song is about Dylan's feelings toward a woman that he felt for who at some point and in some way rejected him. this song isnt really about that, as much as it's about how that makes him feel.

The "blood in my eyes" is really his way of saying my vision's cloudy toward you or I don't even want to see you or want to look at you. In the first verse he's feeling terrible so he just randomly asks some girl to make love to him - meaningless and to make him...

In the first verse he's feeling terrible so he just randomly asks some girl to make love to him - meaningless and to make him feel better... and he's got blood in his eyes towards the girl who broke his heart... trying to show how little he cares for her at all. (i.e - I don't care what in the world you do)....(or at least how much he wants her to think he doesn't care for her at all.)
the second verse is basically his attempt at showing the girl who broke his heart that he's doesn't care for her and he's gonna go out with someone else. (that money will buy - ie. -that's meaningless to him)
the third verse to me seems like the girl that broke his heart maybe gave him the line "maybe sometime we can work but just not now... can't you wait a little while?" and he's saying to her no I can't wait... i dont even care what in the world you do...(4th verse) distancing himself from her...
"you've got my money now you're trying to break this date" - he feels used by her and just wants to try and make her feel guilty by saying that to her
and to me the final verse just kind of is his ending to it all his basically pushing her away saying... "you know what? you don't want me? fine give me my stuff back and i'll leave you alone... and he reiterates it one more time - i don't care what in the world you do.

I think that this song is about a man and a prostitute. Think about it "Seen a good-lookin' girl, can I make love with you?" When does anyone ever just see a good looking girl and ask to make love to her right off the bat? "Gonna get that girl that money will buy" but she probably doesn't want to "you got my money, now you're trying to break this date"..."I don't care what in the world you do" as in I don't care what you do for a living. And blood in my eyes could possibly mean his blood pressure rose because of the excitement or stress of the situation.

I think this song was really about lust. I think "blood in my eyes" is kinda his way of saying i really want you.

I think it's about a drunk/stoned man and a prostitute. bloodshot eyes. Love for money.
