Well, the song title is one of the last things Aeris says in Final Fantasy VII. And coincidentally, the lyrics also follow the emotions of Aeris beyond the Temple Of The Ancients in said game...

yeah this song is about suicide, but i guess you can make it about whatever you want. i like to think it's just about not giving up on something that means so much to you.

Spoilers If you played FF7, you'd know Aeris deliberately let herself be killed by Sephiroth so she could save the planet. It may sound weird to you, I suppose, but you'd have to play the game to understand the story (and you might not even get some more of the story on your first playthrough :D).

I relate to this song soooo much. To me it is about how he is in love with a girl but she is not in love with him, and he can't just ask her why it wouldn't work, and he is really hard on himself. He will not just give up on her.

i was kinda disappointed in the video for this..but its still a great song. and the meaning is kinda obvious..
I kinda took a totally different meaning from this... TO ME: it sounds like a newly married couple who is slowly realizing who eachother are and maybe they jumped the gun a little. they are feeling like they rushed into it, and now they are trying to decide weather or not to just end it(theres so much running through my head) and finally coming to the conclusion that it was over before it started Baby, how can we pretend?
