This song was written by Andy, but he wrote it through the eyes of Jake. It's for and about Jake's mom, and the way Jake felt about his mom's illnesses and how he had to deal with it. Jake's mom's name is Carolyn, and Andy said so in an interview that this is basically just a song for Jake's mom.
