This is somewhat self-explanatory. I love this tune a lot. Everybody can relate to wanting a fleeting good feeling to last a precious few more moments before you gotta get back to the grind.

This is one of the most amazing songs i heard it played once by a camp counsler about leaving after a great summer. This song has alot of meaning in it and it can be interpretted to fit anyones situation at that time.

That is so amazing...I picture the cresent moon smiling crookedly at the sun after a long and crazy night. Ah that feeling of being up all night with someone you love...now it's time to find a bed because i am heavy with love and drugs.

To me this song, being single and finding the one, not just anyone, but the one and how when ever you're with them you can feel like you're high. Then once they departe you come down and still see that you're not with them, but you were with tem for those moments. Those are the moments you musn't forget, and the moments spent with the ones you love (best friends, family, ect.) cherish the moments before they are gone.
To me this song is about happiness and that good feeling you get when something good is happening/happened and you just feel good. I think this song is also about love, drugs or whatever makes your feel good. This song is the ultimate feel good song like other people said it makes you smile when you listen to it. This is my go to song when i feel depressed about something and just need to feel good aboout something. The song is the good feeing, at least that's what i think.
i cant believe that no one has commented on this song. this is one of my favorite violent femmes songs of all time. i really like how he draws out and stresses some of the words to make them more painful/emotional and what not. ahh, such a good song!
