I love this song, it is one of my favorites! I think that it is about a girl who has died in a car crash and the guy felt guilty about it for his whole life... he wish he would've died and not the girl. The guy left town for years and finally came back to Sandy (who is perhaps Rosemary's mother). It makes perfect sense, at least to me. Sandy is Rosemary's mother. |
