What is really a trend, is the "goth" posers who shop in HotTopic and are mostly teenagers who want to be 'different', not the real definition of goths. Marilyn Manson is a good example or the music a poser listens to anyway. |

Hah, if you haven't noticed, I listen to Slayer. And no... not all goths are the same. There ARE gothic trends, I agree. But not all goths follow trends. I just dress in black because that's what I like and listen the fucking music I like, and I don't give a fuck what others might think or say about me.

Hmm... Interesting.
The first time I listened to the Octavarium album, after Octavarium ended and I put on this song again I realized Octavarium ends just like this one begins, and since Octavarium has 5 parts and this one has parts 6 and 7 I thought it was Octavarium's parts 6 and 7.
But YtseJam's theory makes sense too, and I haven't heard The Glass Prison or This Dying Sould yet, so I wouldn't know for sure.
Still, this is a great song. =) |

Ahh, I love this song!
The solo is one of Kirk's best solos, definitely.
The drumming does seem really fast... Lars Ulrich is a bit over-rated in my opinion... but he's not bad at all.
