In general, this song is kick ass. The sense of despair and longing toward the end is generally a "just got the wind pulled out from ya" kind of effect. If you've been a relationship in the past, this song can really hit home with your emotions; especially if you're ex has hurt you in any way...and let's be honest here, we've all felt like our heart has been ripped out of our chest. So, in general, this song COULD be about a man that had broken the ties of a relationship, and is looking through all the old photos, letters, running through old memories in his mind (Bringing the past with the postcards you sent for me, Every line. It brings me right back down), He could regret the choice he has made, but was forced to break the ties because she had caused him so much hurt. Just a thought! |

This song literally takes my breath away EVERY time I listen to it. The end, especially, is phoenominal; most definately a tear jerker! Usually The Early November really hits home in getting your emotions all knoted up in your stomach. Ever So Sweet is another really good one by them. Ace Enders really conveys powerful sense of despair in much of his work. To say the least, I love it. |
